oh hai !
well it appears that school has been cancelled. yep. two days ago two kids in year 8 at AISHK were confirmed with cases of H1N1 so the entire school was shutdown and poof we're on holidays. for 6 weeks to be exact. there has reportably been several other confirmed cases from our school since tuesday and despite the swine-benefit of an extended holiday, i hope everyone is okay.
incase you haven't noticed/hadn't witnessed yet - swine masks are becoming a popular trend and decorated mask-art is apparently 'the new black'. yeah you heard me right folks. so you no longer have to cringe behind your boring white surgical masks; now you can be as creative as you want whilst hiding behind your germ-stopping facemask.

if you're happy and you know it clap your hands

it's been a while.
but i'm back, and i promise that i'll be posting lots in the next few weeks. life has gotten ridiculous at the moment. exams went terrible, school really is not my strong point apparently. that's not really important - all that jazz and whohah. because i'm in thailand :) i'm about to leave it actually. which is depressing however, this was possibly the best weekend in my entire existence. but THEN next week my brother and sister are visiting and THEN i'm off to europe. and THEN my bestest friend in the entire world is coming to visit me. mmmm i'm clapping my hands right about now.
one more thing before i trod along to my plane - they shut all the primary schools on friday. i'm pretty sure the idea of a prelonged summer break is the second best thing in my entire existence... but seriously. little kids are too young to understand just how lucky they are.

my week so far.

hello there little bloggers. and how are you on this nice and humid saturday afternoon? how was your week? school is hectic still. relatives are everything i expected..
but i had a nice little holiday on thursday.
i went to my friend louise's house and we had some crazy fun on her golf buggy
ordinarily i'm not this immature. but d00d. it was insane !

so yeah that was my week.

mr potatoe head

when i was about ten i got a mr potatoe head. i'm not sure when or how i got it but i loved that thing to death. when ou family decided to move from hong kong to australia my dad was left in charge of most of the packing - this included packing up all my toys, books, trinkets etc. i ended up with a box of barbies and one book. everything else he gave away to our lovely Filipino helper.
moving on..
today was a really great day. school was okay i did well in my history exam, i had enough money to get a taxi instead of a bus up the hill, i took the dogs for a walk and then went for a swim with the two of the nicest girls i've ever met. when my mom got home she had a present for me. my mother bought me a mr potatoe head !! the sweetest gift i've received in a very long time. and this time i'm keeping him :D
yes this little guy has found his new home on my chest of drawers

i haven't done anything exciting in a while. and im sorry. holidays are almost three weeks gone and soon half-yearlies will rule my life. i didnt even go to school today - yes i'm well aware of the fact that i miss too much school - i didnt study nearly enough or even attempt my ipt project. today all i wanted to do was bake. that idea was quickly squashed after mom told me we didnt have half the ingredients let alone a baking tin.. our moving skills really aren't the best. my aunt and uncle are coming to visit on the weekend. i guess they'll be wanting to do touristy things. any tips for faking enthusiasm?
it's half five. i should go and procrastinate somewhere else. .
oh but first.
